Maintenance Contracts

When we install your new automated entry system, we offer our electric entrance system maintenance on a contractual basis. You can choose between short or long term contracts and you may receive additional benefits for long term contracts that last several years or more. We can also offer monthly contracts for those customers wanting complete control of their budgets.

All maintenance customers are given ten percent discount on our services.


After the warranty on your gate system runs out, you may wish to consider our maintenance contracts for your convenience.

It is now a legislative requirement that all commercial moving entrance systems are covered by an effective maintenance agreement.  Domestic customers are often also advised by their insurers to have such an agreement in place.  

All maintenance customers are given ten percent discount on our parts and services.

At Simply Electric Gates we offer four maintenance agreements for your consideration, whether or not we installed your system.  We are happy to work on systems installed by others and will visit you free of charge to establish that all is in order, before we offer you a service contract .  As is customary, all maintenance contracts assume that your system has not been damaged by a third party. eg flooding or vandalism.

Black Cover - Is the most comprehensive of our services.  An engineer will respond to your call within hours with no extra charge to you.  This service is limited, and customised to customers whose lifestyle necessitates such a service.

Platinum cover - In addition to your agreed servuce schedule, if you suffer a breakdown, an engineer will respond within two working days with no extra charge to you.

Gold cover -  In addition to your agreed service schedule, if you suffer a breakdown, an engineer will respond within two working days with no charge for attendance.  Any parts used will be chargeable at our discounted rate.

Purple Cover - Customers on purple cover have a free system service every year and are prioritised over other callers for response although any calls are charged as are any parts used at our discounted rate.  

All of our contracts can be paid for upfront, on an annual basis, or via a monthly standing order set up with your bank, to spread the cost throughout the year and give you control over your yearly maintenance budget.

To comply with CE marking requirements, we keep a file for each customer containing their safety assessment and system configuration.  We will make this file available for your insurers should they require it.
